Our Team

DigiFE is an Erasmus+ Funded project that aims to equip agri-food entrepreneurship VET educators with the know-how, confidence, skillset, essential tools and resources to digitalise and develop their teaching practice. This in turn will facilitate learners in agri-food entrepreneurship VET programmes to create an online identity for their local brand and business.

ATU Galway

ATU Galway, formally known as GMIT was established in April 2022. Atlantic TU is Ireland’s newest technological university formed by the merger of GMIT, LYIT and IT Sligo. There has been a strong research tradition in ATU Galway, characterised by high-quality research in several niche areas. Initially, this manifested through individual staff members’ endeavours to do research, publish, and come together in small research groups. Considerable funding has been secured throughout the years to build entrepreneurial opportunities activity and supports for those in the Agri-Food sector across Europe.
