Fostering Design Thinking with Agri-Food Entrepreneurs


The Digital Skills Series curriculum is designed to equip VET educators with the materials to create courses tailored for food entrepreneurs, helping them develop skills in design thinking—a crucial process for overcoming sector challenges. It supports rural food producers in adapting to the digital world and addresses skills gaps identified through market needs and industry feedback.

The course curriculum includes five key modules: Design Thinking, Customer Discovery, Marketing, Data Analysis, and Food Legislation, providing entrepreneurs with essential digital skills. Additionally, educators are equipped with tools to design tailored courses that support entrepreneurs in optimising processes and adopting innovative strategies.

This curriculum is available online for both educators and food producers, offering insights into course outcomes and development.
